A 26-year-old man has been arrested by Kurbin Police, accused of theft.

Police announce that Francesco Doci committed two thefts in the city of Laç within 24 hours.

The stolen vehicle and other stolen items were also seized as material evidence.

Meanwhile, the procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Lezha, for further action.

Police announcement:

The services of the Kurbin Police Commissariat arrest a 26-year-old man in flagrante delicto, suspected of two thefts committed in the city of Laç, within a period of 24 hours. The stolen vehicle and other stolen items are seized as material evidence.

Immediately after citizen AB reported the theft of his "Mercedes-Benz" vehicle, parked in the city of Laç, the Police organized investigative actions to locate the vehicle and identify the perpetrator.

Thanks to the information collected, the vehicle was located in the town of Mamurras, where the suspected perpetrator, Francesko Doçi, 26 years old, resident of Laç, was caught red-handed while attempting to leave with the vehicle, with the intention of selling it in another district.

Further investigations revealed that this same citizen, on 13.06.2025, had broken the window of another vehicle, owned by citizen BK, parked in Laç, and had stolen several items from inside it.

At the end of the procedural actions, 26-year-old FD was arrested in flagrante delicto for the criminal offenses of "Theft" and "Destruction of Property".

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Lezha, for further action.
