NAME/ Who is the 30-year-old Albanian who injured the police officer in Greece

This is the Albanian Esmin Ferhati, who was injured by a Greek police officer during a police operation in the student dormitories at the Polytechnic University in Zografou.

As he tried to escape the officers, he attacked the police officer with a screwdriver, but the latter wounded him with the service weapon on his leg. In the images published by protothema.gr, you can see the images from the checks carried out during this morning's raid in the dormitories.

The armed police have checked door to door in the dormitory rooms in search of persons involved in criminal activity. According to the information, the 30-year-old Albanian, who attacked the police officer with a screwdriver before she shot him with the service weapon, lived in one of the dormitory rooms and tried to escape.

During the operation, it is reported that 9 people were arrested, among them the brother of the wounded Albanian. It is suspected that the dormitories were used as a base and shelter by criminals, particularly active in robbery and drug trafficking, in the area of Zografou, Kaisariani, Byron and Athens.
