Immigrants return for the holidays: Flux in Kakavija, 6300 people entered in one

At the Kakavija customs crossing, the high flow of citizens entering Albania continues, due to the return of emigrants for the end-of-year holidays.

It is reported that over the last 24 hours, a total of 9,500 citizens have been processed, of which 6,300 were entering and 3,200 were leaving.

Since mid-December, when the influx of holiday arrivals began, there have often been queues at the entrance due to the limited number of counters on the Greek side of the border.

Meanwhile, in Kakavija, the flow is expected to be high until Tuesday. Currently, both sides are working with 5 counters for both sides of the movement, yesterday the maximum waiting time in line was about 30 minutes.

Since mid-December, more than 80,000 citizens have entered Albania from Kakavija.
