A judicial police officer with the initials Sh.C at the Dibra Police Station has been arrested by order of the Special Prosecutor's Office against Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK) and a decision of the GJKKO, as he is suspected of the criminal offense of "Passive corruption of judges, prosecutors and other officials of the justice system."

Meanwhile, for citizen AP, in his capacity as a judicial police officer of the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Dibër, the GJKKO has imposed the measure "compulsory appearance", as a suspect for the criminal offense of "Abuse of office".

The Criminal Court of Kosovo has also imposed the security measure "Compulsion to report to the judicial police" against the citizen under investigation FK, as a suspect for the criminal offense "Active corruption of judges, prosecutors and other judicial officials", a measure which has not yet been executed.

Investigations against them, as SPAK reports, began in 2022 for the criminal offenses: "Active corruption of persons exercising public functions", "Passive corruption of persons exercising public functions", "Active corruption of judges, prosecutors and other justice officials" and "Passive corruption of judges, prosecutors and other justice officials", "Abuse of office".

According to SPAK, from the analysis of the investigative actions carried out so far, it results that: The citizen under investigation Sh.C., in his capacity as a judicial police officer at the Dibër Police Station, has requested and received from the citizen under investigation FK, the amount of 3,000 thousand euros to favor the procedural position of the citizen A.Sh. in the criminal case against him, [specifically criminal proceeding no. 9/2020 of the Dibër Prosecutor's Office].

"The citizen under investigation AP, in his capacity as a judicial police officer of the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Dibër, charged with investigating the criminal case against citizen A.Sh., with his actions and omissions has not properly fulfilled his legal duty (for example; being aware of communications with corrupt content, he did not perform any action in a timely manner to refer them to the relevant prosecutor's office, but acted almost two years later, only when the victim of the criminal offense expressed this fact in Court, after being acquainted with the acts, he did not refer communications of interest to him and the identification of persons suspected of committing corrupt acts was not carried out even though the communications make this fact clear)", SPAK announces.
