A 21-year-old woman was taken to hospital for medical attention shortly before midnight in Tirana.

The young woman, after being questioned by the police, stated that she was hit with hard objects. The police say they have identified the suspected perpetrator of this incident, and efforts are underway to apprehend him.

As for the circumstances and causes of this event, they still remain a mystery.

The only details that are known are that the entire incident was recorded on "Gjon Buzuku" Street, while a few minutes later after the rape, at 11:40 PM on Friday, the young woman was taken to the hospital.
