Two people have been extradited from Germany and Italy, charged with the criminal offenses of "Theft" and "Aid for Illegal Border Crossing", respectively.
29-year-old Amarildo Luca was extradited from Italy, after during the periods 2022-2024, in collaboration with other persons, he helped several people to illegally cross the border towards the United Kingdom, the United States and Canada. The GJKKO has set the security measure "prison arrest" for Luca in 2024.
Meanwhile, 20-year-old Francesko Berisha, who was sentenced twice by the Tirana Court, respectively to 8 months in 2021 and 6 months in prison in 2024, for the criminal offense of "Theft", has been extradited from Italy.

A 29-year-old man accused by the Criminal Court of Kosovo of aiding illegal immigration to the United Kingdom, the United States and Canada is being extradited from Italy.
A 20-year-old man, convicted twice for theft in the capital, is being extradited from Germany.
As a result of the close cooperation of Interpol Tirana specialists and their counterparts from Interpol Rome and Interpol Wiesbaden, the extradition procedures from Italy and Germany to Albania of the following citizens were finalized:
-AL, 29 years old, born in Dibër, after in 2024, the First Instance Court Against Corruption and Organized Crime assigned him the security measure "Arrest in prison", for the criminal offense "Aid for illegal border crossing", committed in collaboration.
During the period 2022-2024, citizen AL, in collaboration with other citizens, provided assistance to various citizens for illegal border crossings to the United Kingdom, the USA and Canada.
-FB, 20 years old, born in Tirana, after the Tirana Court sentenced him twice, respectively to 8 months in 2021 and 6 months of imprisonment in 2024, for the criminal offense of "Theft", the police announced.
