Socialist MP Erion Braçe has commented on the numerous reactions on the network and in response to the numerous requests, which, as he says, have been sent to him by citizens and media representatives, regarding the concert of singer Kanye West.

He says that he himself has reservations about the government providing 4 billion lek to support this musical activity, but he does not agree with the opinion of citizens who say that it would be better if that money had gone to healthcare, because there are no funds there.

"I repeat, the decision for the concert has its objections, for anyone who opposes the legitimacy regarding the decision-making, the reasons, the method, as I do; But their legitimization with health or other sectors, at least for this budget year - the largest budget for health ever, does not stand, does not legitimize anything," writes Erion Braçe.

The socialist MP emphasizes that day by day, in Albania it is becoming increasingly difficult to have an opinion, let alone express it.

"Look, in this country it's becoming difficult to have your own opinion, to suppress it and publish it is even worse, from every side, from every party. But the truth doesn't hurt anyone; the truth does good, it doesn't harm," he continues.

The decision to partially finance KANYE WEST'S CONCERT with public money is debatable, which is why it is being talked about - even harshly; debatable from a political, moral, and economic point of view as well; to the latter I have to say: if the quick economic income from this concert is even €100 more than the €4.2 million Government funding, the decision is justified.

Politically, morally, there are different opinions, disagreements, and so on, JUST AS I HAVE MY OBJECTIONS.

What I would really like to hear has to do with the truth. Many here on the internet, but also publicly in the media, have asked me: Are you going to finance a concert or healthcare, medicines, children?!

Here we are, I will answer;

A week ago, the GOVERNMENT approved, by Normative Act, the CHANGES TO THE STATE BUDGET.

The act brings an increase in EXPENDITURE, in the same ratio as the increased-collected REVENUE, without increasing DEBT.

THE COURT - part of the argument in the debate, RECEIVES €47.8 MILLION PLUS FROM THE ACT; where do they go?

€15.5 MILLION goes to children with disabilities - DOUBLING PAYMENTS FOR THEM and COVERING SOCIAL AND HEALTH INSURANCE for parents who care for them and not only;

€16 MILLION goes to HOSPITAL ONCOLOGY DRUGS;

The rest goes to salary increases for doctors and nurses, necessary equipment for medical examinations and laboratories;

All of this is over and above the largest budget for healthcare and especially oncology services ever.

Of course, for health and vital health services, this money will not be enough, but the truth of the acts is this - MONEY HAS BEEN ADDED MUCH MORE TO HEALTH; I would very much like it to be productive, to cure better, to save and heal as many people in need of health care as possible.

Other money?

For WORK and SERVICES, promotion of the urban and rural economy, defense economy;

For PENSIONS, indexation of pensions and rewards with the aim of influencing the increase in the income of the elderly;

For DEFENSE, NATO obligations but also the defense economy;

These numbers are all in the AKT as EXPENSES;

It is the written truth.

I repeat, the DECISION for the Concert has opposition, for anyone who legitimately objects to the decision-making, the reasons, the method, like me;

But their legitimization with HEALTH or other sectors, AT LEAST FOR THIS BUDGET YEAR - with the largest budget for HEALTH ever, does not stand, does not legitimize anything!

Look, in this country it's becoming difficult to have your own opinion, but suppressing it and publishing it is even worse, from every side, from every party.

BUT THE TRUTH DOES NOT HARM ANYONE; THE TRUTH DOES GOOD, IT DOES NOT HARM!
