SERIOUS in GREECE/ Cars collide head-on, 18-year-old Albanian dies (Emri)

A serious road accident occurred in Athens where two young women lost their lives and four others were injured.

According to the Greek media, the accident happened in the early hours of Friday morning, involving two cars that collided with each other, when one lost direction and crossed into the other lane.

According to police sources, one of the victims was of Albanian origin and only 18 years old, while the other was 19 years old. It is known that the Albanian woman was returning from work, with her cousin who is already in the hospital, out of danger for her life.

The friend of 18-year-old Stella, the last person who contacted her before the accident, told about the anxiety he and the girl's family experienced when they learned the tragic news.

"I said goodnight to him at 11:10 p.m. She left work, went for a walk with her cousin, sent me a picture of her face and that was it. I texted him, fell asleep and he never said good night. Her mom called me in the morning. She didn't know what happened, nothing," says the 18-year-old's boyfriend, who usually picked up the young woman from work in his car.
