German police discovered his body in the apartment on November 1, and initial suspicions suggest he may have committed suicide.

His family members have shown that Dritani had sent a letter to his cousin two weeks ago, in which he expressed his desire to leave his life.

The Albanian community has organized a fundraiser to help return his body to Albania, as the family is in difficult economic conditions.
