A serious incident occurred in the city of Elbasan, where a 58-year-old woman lost her life after consuming acid (detergent), suspected to be under severe psychological conditions.
According to the Police, the incident occurred yesterday, when citizen N. Ll., 58 years old, was urgently sent for treatment to the Elbasan Regional Hospital.
Despite the help provided by doctors, the woman could not survive.
Preliminary investigations suspect that she committed the extreme act due to psychological problems.
The procedural materials have been referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Elbasan, for further legal action.
