Serious in Vlora/ Elderly man hits young man in the head with a hammer

An elderly man in Vlora has been arrested after hitting a 25-year-old man in the head with a hammer.

Vlora Police announce that citizen LK, 73 years old, during a conflict for weak motives, hit citizen AH, 25 years old, in the head with a hard object (a rubber hammer).

The young man is in hospital, out of danger.

Police announcement:

The Specialists for the Investigation of Crimes against the Person at the Vlora DVP arrested in flagrante delicto, for the criminal offense of "Intentional Serious Injury", citizen LK, 73 years old, resident of the "Hajro Çakërri" neighborhood, Vlora, after on 15.08.2025, in the "10 Korriku" neighborhood, during a conflict for weak motives, he hit citizen AH, 25 years old, resident of Vlora, in the head with a hard object (a rubber hammer), who is hospitalized in the Vlora Regional Hospital, out of danger to his life.
