A serious incident was recorded in the early hours of this morning in the village of Plasë, Maliq municipality, where a 45-year-old man was found dead in still unclear circumstances.

According to preliminary information, the victim's body was found hanging from the railing of the surrounding wall of a house. It is suspected that he attempted to enter the yard of the house, which was not his property, by climbing over the wall, but during the attempt, his shirt got caught on the metal railing, which led to accidental drowning.

Sources from the scene indicate that the 45-year-old is suspected of having been intoxicated at the time of the incident, which may have contributed to his loss of balance and the tragic outcome of the incident.

Maliq police immediately arrived at the scene, conducted a preliminary investigation and are investigating the full circumstances of the incident.
