An 18-year-old man was left with gunshot wounds and is hospitalized in Italy in serious condition and in danger of life.
The incident happened in Milan last night and police intervened at the scene.
Italian media reported that the teenager was shot by his mother's partner, a 45-year-old albanian-born.
The 18-year-old was hit in the neck after a dispute.
The Carabinieri arrested the suspect for attempted murder and unlicensed firearms and receiving stolen goods.
During a search, authorities found a shell casing and inside the house, the murder weapon, an illegal pistol, found stolen in 2013 in Sassuolo (Modena) and 40 shell casings of the same caliber, all seized.
The arrested man will be sent to Milan San Vittore prison at the disposal of the justice bodies.
