A 39-year-old of Albanian origin has lost her life in Italy, after an unusual episode at a church funeral.

On November 3, during a funeral in the church of Madonna Pellegrina, in via Monti, Marinela Murati lost her torua and after shouting 'Allahu Akbar' tried to grab a statue and throw it on the ground.

At this moment, two officers caught him and handcuffed him. The 39-year-old lost consciousness. She was transported by ambulance to the hospital in Vigevano (Pavia), where she died, reports the Italian newspaper "Il Giorno".

Two local police officers are under investigation on suspicion of murder.
