The Namazgja Mosque in Tirana already has a leader. The Ministry of Religious Affairs in Turkey has appointed the Imam of the Namazgya Mosque
It was the Turkish Imam Enes Bastur himself who announced this news. Through a reaction on social networks, he has announced that he has been entrusted with the direction of the Namazgja Central Mosque in Tirana.
"Dear friends, with the instructions of our Directorate of Religious Affairs, I was assigned to the great shrine of the central Namazgja Mosque in Tirana", he writes.
Despite this announcement made by the person who claims to have been appointed imam of the Namazgja Mosque, there is still no official reaction.
Even from the Muslim Community of Albania, there is no news about the opening of the Mosque and moreover the appointment of the Turkish imam at its head.
Even though it has been completed, the Namazgja Mosque continues to remain closed due to the clash between Erdoganists and Gulenists.
Recently, there is talk that the Mosque will be inaugurated during the visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Tirana. In the minarets of this mosque, the flags of the two countries have been unfurled in recent days.
