“E kam shlyer dënimin”, Dritan Dajti kërkon lirinë,
Today the hearing for Dritan Dajti in the Court of Elbasan

In the next hearing against Dritan Dajti chaired by Magistrate Suela Lika, the representative of IEDVP Peqin was absent and Glenda Zeneli, representative of the Prosecution of the Elbasan Judicial District, appeared 18 minutes late.

The judge decided to continue the session despite the absence of the representative of IEDVP Peqin for the review of the new evidence presented by the applicant Dritan Dajtit, who was present at the session as usual via videoconference.

Dajti, for his part, from the beginning of the session, requested the revocation of an interim decision given some time ago. According to Dajti, this process, in addition to audio recording, should also be accompanied by video recording of this process. According to the Judge, this request of Dritan Dajti is technically impossible to implement at the moment because there is no infrastructure for audio and video recording.

Currently, only audio recording of Court sessions is possible in the Court. It is a draft of the KLGJ that in the future it will be possible to technically make audio and video recordings. Dajti claims that the dynamics of serving his sentence presented to the Court by IEDP Peqin was not calculated correctly.

Meanwhile, the session was interrupted after 37 minutes due to lack of internet signal at IEDP Peqin. Following the session was impossible for a short time via video conference with Dritan Dajti.

The lawyer Alban Qafa, meanwhile, has accused IEDP Peqin of the lack of correctness in the written communication with the applicant, the defense and the Court.

"Give me the sentence of life imprisonment which has been made available to me and which has been signed by me addressed to the Judge", said the petitioner Dritan Dajti at one point, a request that was assessed as abusive.

According to the representative of the Prosecutor's Office, the petitioner Dritan Dajti has the right to appeal for all matters that he considers to have been denied his rights.
