Emiljano Shullazi has undergone an operation on both upper limbs. It is learned that the convict has been showing health problems for a long time and a few days ago the decision was made to operate on both arms.

Journalist Klodiana Lala says that Shullazi underwent surgery at the Prison Hospital. In March of this year, he was sent to QSUT under strict security measures to do some medical checks.

In December, the Special Court of Appeal Against Corruption and Organized Crime upheld the decision of the first instance, sentencing Emiljano Shullazi and the other four members of his group to 55 years in prison.

Shullazi has been accused of serious crimes, from murders to explosions with explosives, trafficking and sale and distribution of drugs, as well as other charges within the framework of a structured criminal group. He has been continuously suspected and investigated several times for fines and coercion with violence and threats to give away property.
