Two Albanians caught with 1 kilogram of cocaine and 40,000 euros in Italy

A suspicious construction worker van travelling along Viale Stelvio, a strategic artery of Busto Arsizio has been searched by Italy police.

Suspicions arose after the tool passed at a time when shipyard workers had long finished their workday. The suspicion was right as inside the vehicle were two Albanians with a plastic bag with 190 grams of cocaine.

The passenger, as soon as patrol approached, tried to escape on foot on one of the roads leading to the Maze of Via Rossini, but the officers managed to block him.

The search of the house ordered by prosecutor Nadia Calcaterra led to the seizure of a pack of 1 kilogram of narcotics and 40,000 euros in cash, a high average annual salary.
