A 17-year-old girl, who was injured by gunfire in Vlora, has headed to Tirana for more specialized treatment.

According to the white shirts, the teenager was conscious when she arrived at the Vlora hospital, but at first she lost consciousness and fell into a coma. According to doctors, she has two head injuries: one in the eye area, near the gallbladder, and another in the upper part of the head, where the bullet also exited.

Doctors say the 17-year-old is intubated, and her survival is due to blood coming out of her head and no internal bleeding.

According to the police, the minor self-injured with a pistol and after being found in the apartment by her family, she was rushed to the hospital.

The incident occurred around 11:40 on Monday, in the "Kushtrimi" neighborhood of the city of Vlora.
