Serious in Vlora/ 17-year-old girl injured in the head with gunshot wound

A 17-year-old girl was transported to the Vlora hospital in serious condition on Monday morning after being shot in the head. She was accompanied to the hospital by her family.

Medical staff sources indicate that the young woman was conscious upon arrival at the hospital, and is undergoing relevant medical procedures.

According to preliminary information, it is suspected that the young woman may have self-inflicted a gunshot wound.

Her condition appeared serious.

"Today, at around 11:40, a 17-year-old minor citizen was admitted to the hospital in serious condition, suspected of having shot herself with a pistol in her apartment in the "Kushtrimi" neighborhood."

"The investigation team is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident," the police announced.
