The marathon hearing at the Special Court against Corruption and Organised Crime has been accompanied by clashes and debates among those arrested following the unravelling of Nuredin Duman, who has led to several alleged names as pay killers and businessmen ordering these murders.
Among the detainees is 31-year-old Besjan Djija. The latter at the security measure assignment hearing has issued a bombshell statement, according to the ABC.
"Nuredin Dumani has committed 12 murders. After every murder, he told us he couldn't find me anything, as he had ties to ministers, deputies, prosecutors, he told me he had something to do with prosecutor Altin Dumani. He has his own man and he felt protected. Duman has been housed more than a year and a half in my house and I know tooth and tooth, even a golden pain we have placed in a relative of mine if you want to go and verify it. Duman should talk about all the crimes he committed, if he is truly remorseful," Xhija said.
There are 13 arrested who have appeared before the court on charges brought by SPAK, where the main witness is Nuredin Dumani.
