The next hearing for the "Partizani" file is underway at the Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime, against former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, his son-in-law Jamarbër Malltezi and three other people accused of the same case.

At the hearing, the former Prime Minister's lawyers, Sali Berisha, Klodiana Gjyzari and Genc Gjokutaj, claimed that there are no criminal facts charging him with the charge of "passive corruption".

In the session taking place at the GJKKO, Berisha's defense has begun, represented by two lawyers, Klodiana Gjyzari and Genc Gjokutaj.

The latter claim that there are no criminal facts charging the leader of the Democratic Party with the charge of passive corruption.

"SPAK, as in the acts of formulating the accusation, has not presented clear facts, what Berisha did, what the consequences are, it has not brought any evidence and concrete action as to what Sali Berisha did. During this process, we will prove that the criminal prosecution was carried out for political purposes, undermining pluralism in Albania, " said Klodiana Gjyzari in the session.
