The Special Prosecutor's Office will hold a handover ceremony today at 10:00 AM from Altin Dumani to the new chairman, Klodian Braho, elected with 7 votes of the KLP members.

For SPAK, this is considered an important moment for ensuring continuity and further strengthening the work of the Special Structure against Corruption and Organized Crime.

The head of SPAK has a 3-year mandate, without the right to re-election. Altin Dumani, who succeeded Arben Kraja, the first head of the Special Anti-Corruption Structure, will now be a prosecutor at SPAK until 2028, when his 9-year mandate ends.

Dumani closes the leadership cycle amid continued demands to give SPAK prosecutors the opportunity to run for re-election
