Truck overturns on Levan-Tepelena axis, fills road with oranges

A road accident occurred this evening on the Levan-Tepelena axis, in the village of Poçem, where a truck loaded with citrus fruits (oranges and tangerines) was involved in an accident.

According to preliminary information, the Volvo vehicle, with license plate AA 859 SJ, has left the road for reasons that are still unclear. As a result of the accident, the driver of the vehicle, citizen O. Rr., was injured and was transported by ambulance to the hospital for medical assistance. Sources from the hospital indicate that his life is out of danger.

Meanwhile, passenger O. Sh. is at the scene and, fortunately, has not suffered any injuries,

Police, fire and investigation services have arrived at the scene, and are working to clarify the causes and circumstances of the accident, as well as to normalize traffic on this road segment.
