The "Metamorfoza" file, GJKKO goes to trial for 7 accused of committing several serious crimes

The Special Court passes for trial the "Metamorfoza" file with 7 people accused of committing several serious criminal offenses.

Pëllumb Gjoka, Behar Brajovic, Edmond Preka, Astmer Bilali, Ardit Hasanbegaj, Oltion Bistri and Xhevahir Lita went for trial in this Friday's session.

The decision was taken by judge Elsa Ulliri, while the case was passed for trial without debate by the parties.

Most of the accused have asked for a shortened trial, a request which will be examined in the next session.

The lawyers of the businessman Pëllumb Gjoka have objected in all sessions to the acceptance of Sky Ecc communications as evidence, for which they have appealed to the Constitutional Court.

The Constitutional Court will consider it on November 19 at 10.00.
