Former socialist deputy Alqi Blako is accused of "corruption" committed in two cases, also for the Tirana incinerator.
A few days ago, prosecutor Dritan Prençi communicated the accusation to Bllakos, who has been in the cell for incinerators for more than two years.
In April of this year, SPAK brought to trial some of the accused for the Tirana incinerator. Specifically, former environment minister Lefter Koka, Pëllumb Abeshin, Erjon Murataj, Bledar Karolin, Taulant Tu?en, Namik Simixhiu, Etleva Kondi, Alba Thoma, Valbona Ballgjini, Sidita Kopliku, Jetmir Llapaj and Silena Tolën. The prosecution body communicated to them the accusation of "abuse of duty".
Koka, Blako, Tusha and Karoli are under "prison arrest", while Alba Thoma, Ballgjini, Temali, Kondi, Abeshi and Tola are under "house arrest". Namik Simixhiu has the "appearance obligation" measure.
For the Elbasan incinerator, Alqi Blako was found not guilty in the first degree, while for the Fier incinerator he was sentenced to 4 years, a sentence which was reduced to 2.8 years in prison due to the shortened trial.
