Yesterday, the general commander of the Republic Guard, Gramoz Sako, submitted his resignation, according to journalist Anila Hoxha's sources.

The resignation submitted to the Minister of the Interior is reported to have been accepted. The reasons are not known and there is no new appointment yet, although it is unofficially announced that next week the head of the Guard will be replaced.

The Ministry of the Interior declares that it has launched an in-depth reformation of the Guard that deals with the protection of the PLSh, say the sources of the journalist Hoxha.

Thus, during the submission of the forms for the "SKY ECC" application, a Guard officer identified as Adnan Lleshi was dismissed after he admitted that he had used this application. "I didn't know it was forbidden," said the Guard officer.
