A 34-year-old Albanian residing in Greece has denounced before the police authorities on the island of Kos, the violence perpetrated by her former partner, who is of Albanian origin.

According to the report, which was submitted last Saturday, the suspected perpetrator drove up to the 34-year-old while she was walking with her friends and pulled out a gun, threatening her with her life.

The 44-year-old was arrested the same afternoon and voluntarily handed over a pistol, a box of metal cartridges and his mobile phone to the police.

The Albanian has denied the charges raised and filed a complaint for false accusation against his ex-wife. However, charges have been brought against him for violating the law on weapons, threats and blackmail through pornographic videos.
