VIDEO/ Madness in Tirana, the 'pilot' at a speed of 177 km/h

After the tragic accident with three victims last Thursday, the police descended on the field.

In the function of preventive checks, the Tirana Regional Traffic Police officers have increased the checks on the main urban and interurban roads, with the risk of road accidents, due to the non-regulation of speed, mainly in residential centers and near pedestrian crossings.

As a result of checks with patrols and civilian vehicles, alternated with other uniformed services, during the last few days 70 vehicle drivers were found and prosecuted for not regulating speed and for speed races.

Also, the police emphasize that considering the negative impact that many young people give on social networks, by publishing violations of road traffic rules, mainly speeds above the permitted rates, speed races and the use of mobile phones, the work is continuing to identify and process them, according to the committed violations.
