Ambera Saliji, the Albanian from North Macedonia, sentenced to five years and three months in prison for complicity in the murder of Ismail Luli, the 17-year-old Albanian killed in Sant'Angelo in Vado, in the province of Pesaro Urbino, in July 2015, has been arrested.

According to the investigation and trial, she is suspected of luring the young man into an ambush, but then did not participate in the actual execution. The killers, two Albanian citizens, were arrested a few hours after the crime and charged with murder.

At the time of the incident, Ambera was in a relationship with one of the two perpetrators, also Albanian, but had approached the victim under the pretext of a explanatory meeting. At that time, something had happened between the victim and the murderer, arousing jealousy. The arrest was recently carried out by the Carabinieri following an order issued by the Urbino Prosecutor's Office, as she was planning to leave for North Macedonia.

According to the reconstruction of what happened in 2015, Luli's body was found bound with duct tape and her throat slashed by multiple stab wounds. Ambera allegedly took Ismail to her boyfriend, knowing his vengeful intentions. She allegedly lured the victim to the bus station.

Igli Meta and Marijo Mema were the two Albanian drug traffickers who tortured the victim until he confessed his affair with Amber. The two met the seventeen-year-old at a bus stop and convinced him to board their bus. Both Igli Meta and Marjo Mema, the other suspect in the murder of Ismaele Lulli, were sentenced to life imprisonment.
