After the event with two deaths in Velipoja, another serious event was recorded this evening.

An American citizen strangled his wife with a rope this Monday in their home in Tirana.

After that, he drowned the family's two dogs and then committed suicide, yes with a rope.

The victims are Indah Lilis Sartika Saragih and Matthew James Wertz, 55 years old.

The latter worked as a teacher in a private school in the Albanian capital.

The causes of this serious event are not yet known.

Police found a letter left by Wertz that read: "Sorry, I couldn't make it."

The American couple lived in a house at the intersection of "Valbona" ​​street and "Ramazan Ceku" street.
