NEW DETAILS from the pursuit of the 16-year-old who cut herself with glass and
Jetmir Llanaj

Other details have been revealed regarding the incident reported this Tuesday by the State Police where a 16-year-old girl injured a police officer and injured herself with a cutting tool, as a result of her severe psychological condition after being stalked by a citizen on the "order" of her 46-year-old ex-boyfriend.

Jetmir Llanaj, a well-known name in Albanian justice and the media, had a love affair with a 16-year-old before he was arrested by the police in March of this year.

But after he was arrested, the girl continued her life by starting another love story. This fact was not accepted by Llanaj, who, although in the cell, had placed a "guard" on the young woman.

In a serious psychological state and annoyed by the pursuit, she decided to cut herself with glass, but fortunately without any life-threatening consequences.

During the interrogation, the young woman bit the police officer.

The authorities immediately referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, while they are working to identify the citizen whom Jetmir Llanaj had decided to pursue.

Jetmir Llanaj, otherwise known as the "strongman" of Lezha, was arrested in March of this year after being accused of being part of a group that imposed fines on businesses in Kurbin.

The investigations conducted show that the 46-year-old, along with four other people, imposed fines on businessmen by exerting pressure and threatening them with weapons, with the aim of unjust financial gain.

For 3 months, Jetmir Llanaj's group had been kept under surveillance and eavesdropped, completing all the evidence.

The two minors were caught red-handed attempting to take a large sum of money from a business, and after their arrest and that of a 39-year-old man in the act, an operation was carried out to capture Jetmir Llanaj a few days later.

Llanaj is not an unknown name for Albanian justice.

He was previously in prison for murder, after taking revenge for the murder of his 9-year-old son, Indrit Llani.

The 46-year-old was sentenced to 25 years in prison by the first instance, but the Appeals Court reduced it, while he served his sentence and left the cell in January to return again in March.
