27 defendants were sent for trial, while another 50 persons were convicted. This is the balance sheet of SPAK for the month of May, as it has made the figures known through a press release.

SPAK also states that 3,430,130 euros, 80,000 Swiss francs, 500 m2 of land on the coast were confiscated by a final court decision.

The notification states that during this month, 15 criminal reports have been filed, out of which, for 4 reports, it has been decided not to initiate investigations.

During the month of May 2022:

15 criminal reports were filed, out of which, for 4 reports, it was decided not to initiate investigations.

22 criminal proceedings were registered, with 15 persons under investigation, of which 11 proceedings with 11 persons under investigation for criminal offenses related to organized crime and 11 proceedings with 4 persons under investigation for criminal offenses related to corruption.

6 criminal proceedings were sent for trial with 27 defendants, out of which, 1 proceeding with 8 defendants for criminal offenses related to organized crime and 5 proceedings with 19 defendants for criminal offenses related to corruption.

Based on the requests submitted by the Special Prosecution, the Special Court approved personal security measures against 44 persons under investigation.

Pas kërkesave përfundimtare të prokurorëve të posaçëm janë dhënë nga Gjykata e Posaçme 4 vendime themeli, duke deklaruar 50 të pandehur fajtorë.

Bazuar në ligjin Nr. 10192, datë 03.12.2009 “Për parandalimin dhe goditjen e krimit të organizuar, trafikimit, korrupsionit dhe krimeve të tjera nëpërmjet masave parandaluese kundër pasurisë”, (të ndryshuar), janë konfiskuar me vendim përfundimtar të gjykatës 3,430,130 euro, 80,000 franga zvicerane, 500 m2 tokë në bregdet.

Janë ekzekutuar 10 vendime penale të formës së prerë, ndaj 29 personave të dënuar.

Nga prokurorët e posaçëm janë miratuar 35 vendime për miratim takimesh të paraburgosurve me familjarët.

Janë vendosur 3 persona në regjim të posaçëm mbikëqyrje në ambientet e vuajtjes së dënimit.

5 letters received from foreign judicial authorities were executed and 7 letters were sent for execution to foreign authorities.
