ITALY

A 48-year-old Albanian man has been arrested in Italy , suspected of being involved in drug trafficking.

Along with the Albanian, his 40-year-old Italian accomplice was also arrested.

During the operation, Italian authorities seized over 5 kilograms of cocaine and hashish with a market value of 400 thousand euros.

They were spotted by the authorities after the Italian was driving the car suspiciously, which led the officers to search the car.

The investigations continued, with Italian authorities tracking down the Albanian.

At the moment he was stopped, he attempted to throw away an envelope, inside which 2kg of cocaine was found.

The subsequent search of the house led to the discovery of 11,200 euros in cash, as well as almost 3 kilograms of hashish, divided into packages ready for sale.
