The police have arrested the chief of the Fire Force in the city of Cërrik, for driving while intoxicated. The 36-year-old AT citizen was put in handcuffs.

Official sources indicate that he was driving a Mercedes Benz type vehicle in a drunken state, in the city of Cërrik. From the first test carried out with the Drager device, the 36-year-old resulted in 2.0 mg/l, while in the second test it resulted in 1.225 mg/l.

"Today, the Regional Directorate of the Elbasan-Korçë Police Surveillance Agency in cooperation with the Road Circulation Sector at the DVP Elbasan carried out the arrest in flagrante delicto of the AT citizen, 36 years old, with the duty of PMNZSH in the city of Cërrik, suspected of committing the criminal offense "Irregular driving while intoxicated", provided for by Article 291 of the Criminal Code. – informs the police.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Elbasan Court of First Instance.
