EU Ambassador to Albania: We support independent justice institutions!

The European Union Ambassador to Albania, Silvio Gonzato, stated that he visited the Constitutional Court today.

In a reaction on the social network X , Gonzato expressed the support that the European Union offers to independent justice institutions in Albania.

" Today I visited the Constitutional Court as a sign of EU support for independent justice institutions in Albania."

Not only is the Court the guarantor of the Constitution and the highest instance in the country to protect individual constitutional rights; it also has an important role to play during the negotiations and in fulfilling the requirements of Chapter 23, which is key to Albania's membership ," Gonzato writes.
