Tragic accident at Dajlan Bridge, "prison arrest" ordered for driver

The Durrës Court has remanded in prison 26-year-old Arbër Xhaxhaj, who had an accident two days ago on the Dajlan Bridge.

As a result of the accident, 18-year-old passenger Vikena Greku died.

The accident occurred at around 10:15 p.m. on Thursday. The 26-year-old man and the 18-year-old victim were traveling in a BMW, allegedly at a speed exceeding the posted speed limit.

They first crashed into the traffic divider and then the car fell off the bridge and ended up in a flower shop, injuring the guard and another person.
