Accident in Librazhd, car hits pedestrian, 65-year-old woman dies

A tragic accident resulting in the death of a pedestrian was recorded this Wednesday afternoon on the Librazhd-Prrenjas national axis, at the place known as "Ura e Spatharit".

Citizen Heidije Bajrami, around 65 years old, was hit by a Toyota vehicle driven by citizen Xheladin Omeri. The collision was severe, causing the elderly woman serious injuries.

The 65-year-old woman was urgently transported to the Librazhd Municipal Hospital, but unfortunately she arrived without any signs of life in the emergency room.

Police immediately arrived at the scene and launched investigations to fully clarify the circumstances of the accident, while the driver of the vehicle is being questioned regarding the dynamics of the incident.
