The reason why Tërmet Peçi appeared before SPAK prosecutors is revealed

Socialist Party MP and former mayor of Tepelena, Tërmet Peçi, appeared on the afternoon of May 20 at the premises of the Special Prosecution Office (SPAK), where he stayed for about two hours.

According to journalist Anila Hoxha, SPAK has asked Socialist MP Tërmet Peçi about an open investigation into the time he headed the municipality of Tepelena.

The Top Channel journalist's sources confirmed that this time the MP was asked about a contract for a pasture leased by the city's municipal council.

The procedure for which the former mayor was questioned was related to the 99-year lease of an area of ??over one hectare that had been planted with walnut trees and resulted in pasture land.

Earlier, Tërmet Peçi was also questioned as a declarant about the way in which the former pioneers' palace in this city was privatized, as reported by one of the owners of the building.

But in his capacity as declarant, sources explained to TCH that MP Peçi insisted that he cannot be held responsible for documents that were initialed in 1986.
