The return of Eva Dumani to her family from the infamous Al Hol camp in Syria has revived the hopes of 90-year-old Dylber Shuli from Gurras, Pogradec, who has been searching and waiting for his nieces and nephews, who are being held in that camp, for almost a decade.
Old age has not yet extinguished his hopes of seeing and holding his nieces and nephews. 10 years ago, Dylber's son went to Syria with his wife and 3 daughters.
But after the son killed them, the wife and daughters were held in the AlHol camp, from where they have not been able to leave.
Dylber Shuli says:
" With hope in God and with the call that comes from his soul, the 90-year-old man seeks help for the repatriation of his nieces and nephews, who are powerless to return to their family on their own."
In addition to Dylber's relatives, there are other families from the Pogradec area who have their people in the Al Hol camp in Syria and who are waiting day by day for their return ."
