The investigations that SPAK has initiated against suspended Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku have progressed in the questioning of several businessmen who have benefited from public funds through tenders they have won in some of the construction lots of the Grand Ring Road.

The start of the questioning phase of the businessmen was carried out immediately after conducting checks on their businesses and seizing telephones and other computer equipment.

Many of these devices have already been examined and simultaneously taken for computer expertise to the cyber expertise laboratory at SPAK.

The first to be called to testify is businessman Ram Geci , who appeared at SPAK last week and was questioned by an officer from the National Bureau of Investigation.

Meanwhile, the turn to receive the summons from SPAK is with other businessmen, who have held talks or meetings with the Minister of Transport and Energy, Belinda Balluku.

The list of businessmen and ministry officials who will be questioned at SPAK is long, such as Sindi Dushku , the director of Balluk's Cabinet, oligarch Sadik Ismailaj of "Alb-Star" , Pëllumb Salillari , businessman Ilir Shtufi, as well as businessmen Gëzim Dani, Paqsor Buzi, Ylli Senka, Kujtim Arifaj and others are expected to be called to SPAK to testify.

According to sources close to the special prosecution, the other names of businessmen who will be summoned in the coming days to SPAK are Bledar Starova, Eduart Çohadari, Ardit Metaliaj, Iljan Metaliaj, Çuman Sejdiaj, Gramos Dalipi, Bledar Lloshi, Giovanni Pascale, Vladimir Pjetërgjokaj, Enea Kaçi, Basri Troci, Besmir Çako, Ervis Toska, Ergys Senka, Spartak Demiraj, Leonard Proko, Arbër Abazi and Artan Sako .

All of these people have benefited from tenders at the Ministry of Transport, which was headed by Belinda Balluku. According to investigations conducted by the special prosecution, some of the above businessmen met with Minister Balluku, with the aim of dividing the lots they would win for carrying out works on the construction of the Great Ring Road.

Currently, none of the businessmen have been officially investigated by SPAK, but the suspended Deputy Prime Minister, Belinda Balluku, is accused by SPAK of pre-determining the winners in the tender for the construction of the Llogara Tunnel, as well as of violations in 7 procedures related to the Grand Ring Road file.

On October 31, SPAK officially named Belinda Balluku as a defendant, and a few days later imposed the measure of "Ban on leaving the country", Suspension from duty and public function of the Minister of Transport and Deputy Prime Minister of the country.

However, due to the clash with the government in the Constitutional Court, SPAK then made a new move, requesting authorization from the parliament to allow the arrest of Belinda Balluku.

This request has not yet been considered because the Mandates Commission has postponed the meeting to review the request of the SPAK special prosecution several times./ EltonQyno
