A 46-year-old Albanian identified as Arben Kristo (Christea) lost his life while trying to flee after a robbery in the Gorello area of ??Arezzo, Italy.
Italian media reports that he was seriously injured in the leg by an iron stake from a metal fence that had been put up to protect crops from wild boars, and according to authorities, he died from hemorrhage.
Two other robbers who accompanied him fled without a trace. However, Italian police are investigating the actions of a 76-year-old Italian man who fired a gun when he saw the robbers leaving the villa of his brother, who was out for dinner.

The elderly man said he heard the alarm and when he went out onto the balcony he saw the robbers leaving. He said he took a gun he was carrying with a permit and fired two shots into the air in an attempt to scare the robbers.
No charges have been filed against him at this time. Initial autopsy results and ballistics analysis are expected to determine the exact time frame of the incident. Investigators are also focusing on the movements of the gang, believed to be from the Rome area.
Arben was reportedly staying in Italy illegally and had several previous convictions for property crimes. Investigations have not yet identified a specific address where he was staying. Before the incident, two other cases of attempted robbery were reported in the area.
