Tirana police have arrested 22-year-old Erisjaldo Gjuta, who was wanted after an 18-year-old girl self-harmed in a hotel in Sauk. The young man is accused of failing to report a crime, acts that hinder the discovery of the truth, committed in collaboration, and illegal possession of weapons.

The girl's boyfriend told police officers that he was standing outside the hotel with his father when they heard the gunshot. According to him, they ran to the room and found her injured. Initially, they tried to give her first aid, but when they saw that her condition was serious, they decided to take her to the hospital.

The pistol, according to the police, belongs to the 22-year-old, but has not yet been found, as the young man does not indicate where he hid it. Up to this stage of the investigation, there is no indication that the incident has any other dynamics, other than self-harm, as the young woman had previously attempted to harm herself.

In addition to the 22-year-old, the police also arrested his mother, who took the girl to the hospital. Vladimir Gjuta, the 22-year-old's uncle, a character with a criminal record, a former convict, was also arrested. The police have declared Sajmir Gjuta, the 22-year-old's father, and his cousin, Elvir Gjuta, who helped take the girl to the hospital, wanted.

According to police, the boyfriend, his father, and his uncle wiped away every trace of blood and evidence in the hotel, and instructed the 22-year-old's mother and cousin to declare at the hospital that they found the girl on the street, at the Ekonomiku roundabout.
