Tension and fierce debates have accompanied the next session for the " Metamorphosis " file, where the Special Structure against Corruption and Organized Crime has requested the summoning of 40 witnesses to the trial for serious charges related to the activities of a structured criminal group.

Prosecutors are seeking the questioning of witnesses for the murder of Gjin Boriç in August 2020, as well as for ensuring the conditions for the murder of Kleanthi Musabelli, charges that according to SPAK were carried out within the framework of a structured criminal group.

The strongest debate in the hall focused on the SKY ECC application communications and the alleged discrepancy between the conversation times and the time of Gjin Boriç's murder.

Former head of SPAK, Arben Kraja, stated that the time of SKY ECC servers does not match local time, rejecting claims of manipulation of communications time.

On the other hand, lawyer Gurali Brahimllari, who represents businessman P. Gj , accused the prosecution of manipulating the minutes. According to him, Gjoka's minutes have been moved and the evidence has been distorted.

Meanwhile, the hearing was postponed after the lawyers requested time to familiarize themselves with the full content of the evidence and materials presented by the prosecution.

Behar Bajrovic and Edmond Preka are also being tried in this process.

The trial is being conducted in a regular trial, unlike the lighter crimes part of the "Metamorphosis" case, which was previously handled in a summary trial. The next session is expected to bring back the clash between the parties, in one of the most sensational trials of recent years regarding organized crime in the country.
