A 17-year-old man has been arrested in Tirana after he extorted 500 euros from a 38-year-old woman through blackmail with intimate photos and videos.

The latter reported the case to the police, saying that the teenager, along with a 21-year-old man, had threatened her to give her 500 euros.

A 21-year-old man has been declared wanted in connection with the case, while the amount of money taken from the 38-year-old woman (500 euros) and 2 cell phones were seized.

Police announcement:

The codenamed "Privacy" operation is finalized.

They took money from a citizen so that they would not publish intimate photos and videos, 1 citizen is arrested, his accomplice is wanted.

500 euros and 2 cell phones were seized.

Immediately after a 38-year-old woman reported that two citizens had threatened her with 500 euros to prevent her from publishing intimate photos and videos of her on social networks, specialists from the Property Crimes Investigation Section organized and finalized the operation codenamed "Privacy", as a result of which:

-A 17-year-old was arrested and his accomplice, citizen ED, 21, was declared wanted.

Efforts are underway to capture the 21-year-old, who is suspected of being the perpetrator of thefts in several entities in Tirana.

The amount of money taken from the 38-year-old woman (500 euros) and 2 cell phones were seized as material evidence.

The procedural materials were referred to the Tirana Prosecution Office, for further action, for the criminal offense of "Coercion by threat or violence for the provision of property", committed in collaboration.
