
The State Police have arrested a 30-year-old man as part of a criminal group accused of trafficking a container of cocaine, seized in February of this year at the port of Vigo in Spain.
The young man has been identified as Klevi Kananaj.

As a result of the real-time exchange of information between Spanish counterparts and the DFPO services, through Interpol Tirana specialists, regarding the location of a citizen declared internationally wanted, the operation codenamed "Operacional 93" was finalized.
During this phase, citizen KK, 30 years old, born in Vlora, was located in Vlora and provisionally arrested, with the aim of extradition to Spain.
For this citizen, the judicial authorities in Spain, on 03.03.2026, issued an arrest warrant for the criminal offense of "Drug Trafficking".
The 30-year-old is accused of collaborating with other citizens to traffic 82.84 kg of cocaine, hidden in a container, into Spain. The narcotics were seized by the Spanish Police on 05.02.2026, at the port of Vigo, where 2 citizens were also arrested in flagrante delicto while attempting to remove the cargo.
Investigations suspect that the 30-year-old's role was to observe the container from outside the terminal. He initially left for Catalonia, and, 11 days after the incident, fled to Italy.
Cooperation between Interpol Tirana and Interpol Madrid continues to finalize the procedure for the extradition of the 30-year-old.
