Arben Pëllumbi , the son of one of the most prominent figures of the Albanian left, Servet Pëllumbi , has reacted to the passing of his dear man, his lighthouse who guided him throughout his life.

Through a post that, like any person, he would never want to make, but unfortunately the law of life is such, he shared this terrible news with his followers and proudly showed everyone how proud he is to be the son of Servet Pëllumbi.

Amidst memories and gratitude, he has brought to light the figure of his father, a man who lived with dignity and with an unconditional love for family, knowledge, and country.

To him, he was not only a father, but also the first teacher, the constant guide, and the strength he relied on in every challenge.

"Today my father, Servet Pëllumbi, passed away! The professor as everyone called him, was a man who lived with dignity, deep thought and unconditional love for family, knowledge and Albania. For me he was more than a parent, he was a guide, teacher and my moral strength. His departure leaves me with an irreplaceable void, but his work, words and example will live on forever. Endless gratitude for having been lucky enough to have a father. Rest in peace," writes Arben Pëllumbi.

Servetus Pëllumbi closed his eyes forever on the afternoon of May 5, leaving behind a vast legacy in the political and academic life of the country.

He had a long career in the ranks of the Socialist Party and the Assembly of Albania, where he stood out as one of the longest-serving and most active figures. Pëllumbi also held the positions of Speaker of the Assembly, as well as Deputy Speaker of the Socialist Party in the early years of pluralism.

Born on December 14, 1936 in Korça, he completed his higher studies at the University of Petersburg, where he received a Doctor of Science degree in Literature.

He began his career as a lecturer at the Pedagogical Institute of Korça and then at the University of Tirana, later becoming part of political leadership structures.
