The owner of Gjirokastra's local television ALPO RTV Aristotel Petro raised strong doubts yesterday that Myftaraj may have been killed.

"A terrible news about free speech is circulating these moments when it is being said that Journalist (one of the few who can be called such) Kastriot Myftaraj committed suicide by jumping from the 4th floor of a building.

As far as we knew Kastriot, he was not a person who could commit suicide, and without any doubt we can say that it is understood that Kastriot was killed", writes Petro.

The owner of the television in Gjirokastër calls for a serious investigation, otherwise the biggest responsibility falls on the government. 

" Kastrioti wrote truths that few understood and had no political overtones!" If serious investigations are not carried out for this crime, the biggest responsibility for this crime falls on the current Government in power and Prime Minister Edi Rama! Another thing even worse is when we see insulting comments about the deceased where commenters without any connection with him insult him even though it is claimed that he is no longer among us.
