OFFICIAL/ World Cup changes start date, more party promised

The Bureau of the FIFA Council confirmed the changes related to the World Cup that were proposed in recent days and which represent a significant change to the calendar.

To begin with, the tournament will start on Sunday, November 20 and not the 21st as previously planned.

Also, the opening match will be Qatar - Ecuador, instead of Netherlands - Senegal, which was predicted after the draw at the beginning of April.

This change means a more festive start to the World Cup, as it is the host country that will open the tournament.
