Just as it looked like Germany and Spain would be eliminated in the groups, the race in Group E of the World Cup has reopened.

Costa Rica has managed to make a surprise by defeating Japan by a minimum of 1-0, which a few days ago won against Germany and was seen as the favorite in this match, as the team from Central America was defeated in the first match by Spain 7-0.

The only goal for Costa Rica was scored by Fuller in the 81st minute of the match thanks to a counterattack, which was the only shot on goal for his team.

Thus, both teams go into the final group game with a real chance of qualifying, however the match between Spain and Germany ends, in a group which is more open than thought after the first games.
